Equipment: Nikon D200 with Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens
Specs: 1/8 sec at f/22 at ISO100
I was attracted to this shot by the combination of graphic lines, the colors created by the foliage, the dark evergreen trees, and the reflections. The snow capped, gray mountain peaks contrasted with those graphic lines. I had purposely moved further to my right to see more of the peaks. The small island in the foreground adds balance, keeping the image from being too static.
