New Bedford
became famous as the home of New England's whaling industry and made further famous
by Herman Melville in his novel "Moby Dick".
Whaling has
long since gone, but New Bedford still has a huge fishing fleet. Joe Votano recently spent some time there, photographing the fishing vessels
and the surrounding town.
